Microbial Fermentation

Utilizing two flow paths for air and O2 flow, the flow meter intuitively indicates and allows manual adjustment of the sparger flow rate. O2 is pulsed through a solenoid valve and flows only as needed to maintain the Dissolved Oxygen (DO) set point.

No air is provided at this time. A mass flow controller can be integrated to measure and control the total gas flow range by manual adjustment or automatically combined with a DO controller.

Cell Culture

Simultaneous gassing strategy of overlay and sparger: air goes into overlay through a flow meter and a solenoid valve. Solenoid valves select air, O2, N2 and CO2 to flow to the sparger.

An additional airflow path can be added to the distributor. Mass flowmeter is optional for each gas inlet.

Mature Culture Vessel Design

Material: tank SUS316L (polishing better than Ra 0.4 um), jacket SUS304, insulation SUS304 (aluminum silicate filled)
Stainless steel tank with insulation layer, safe and energy-saving;
Complete tank cover interface configuration, rich and flexible functional ports to meet different process requirements;
Prepared with CIP (Cleaning in Place) interface, allowing the operator to effectively, reproducibly and automatically clean the complete system including the culture vessel, gas inlets, exhaust lines, addition lines and transfer groups;
4-Valve addition array, disposable sampling valves and drain valves are either manually or automatically sterilized;
Equipped with an easy-to detach condenser around the air outlet, for easy cleaning, no effusion and no contaminating bacteria;
