Stinless steel wiped film evaporator unit provides a customizable evaporation area ranging from 0.1 to 0.5 ㎡ [pilot scale], allowing for flexible operation and efficient processing of various batch sizes to suit different applications. It features fully jacketed pipelines for uniform fluid heating and robust sealing for system integrity.

Adjustable Feed Flow Rate is precisely regulated by peristaltic/gear pumps, ensuring optimal process control.

Heated Inlet and Outlet Pipelines maintain the fluidity of the material within the pipelines, preventing blockages and ensuring smooth operation.

Excellent System Sealing with a magnetic stirrer seal.

Stable System Operation: A continuous collection valve allows for the replacement of collection bottles and the output of materials without interrupting the system's operation.

Accurate Process Monitoring: Equipped with an RO-54 vacuum gauge for precise vacuum measurement, which can switch between vacuum units. This provides more accurate readings compared to traditional Pirani vacuum gauges.

Powerful Control System: Upgraded to a PLC touch screen control system, it allows for process presetting, access management, interlocking settings, and safety protection, enabling autonomous operation of the entire system without human intervention.

Feeding and Distribution: The feed material enters the evaporator at the top and is evenly distributed across the inner wall of the heated tube by a rotating wiper system, forming a thin film.
Thin Film Formation and Evaporation: The design of the wiper ensures that the feed material forms a thin and uniform film on the heating surface, which rapidly evaporates as it flows downward due to conductive heat.
Heat Transfer: The walls of the evaporator are typically heated to temperatures ranging from RT-250°C, achieved through an oil heating jacket. The lighter components (lower boiling points) of the material evaporate as they pass through the evaporator and are condensed in an external condenser.
Condensation and Collection: The vapors produced by evaporation are condensed in a condenser and then collected in a receiving vessel. Non-volatile components are discharged as a liquid from the bottom of the evaporator.
Wiper System: The design of the wiper system is crucial for maintaining the stability of the thin film and optimizing heat transfer. LAB1ST's GWF may employ a spring-loaded, angled wiper system to ensure even distribution of the thin film.
Control System: The equipment may be equipped with an advanced automated control system for precise process control.
